RingReel may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Picks come from our research, never from payment. How we make money

Wedding bands under $100 are silicone, tungsten, titanium or ceramic, and nothing else: on the sellers’ own pages on 20 September 2026 the cheapest band we read listed under $10, a tungsten ring with a set stone under $70, and titanium under $95, while the cheapest solid gold band anywhere in our research was over $275 at list price. Our overall pick is Groove Life’s slim black tungsten ring at just under the ceiling, because it is the only listing under the ceiling that ships as two rings, a metal band and a silicone one. The thing worth knowing before you spend anything here is that most of the stock at this price is being run out, and we counted it.

Read the sizes column before the price. At this budget nothing can be adjusted on a bench, so the size you order is the size you own, and the rings with the widest ladders and the longest exchange windows are worth more than the ones that are a few dollars cheaper.

The Best Wedding Bands Under $100, Reviewed

Best overall

Groove Ring Tungsten 6mm, Black

by Groove Life

Best for: A buyer who wants a traditional metal band for the ceremony and something safer for work, without going over $100 twice.

It is the only ring we found under $100 that ships as two rings, because the listing includes a silicone Alpha ring alongside the tungsten one.

What we like

  • A silicone Alpha ring is included with the tungsten band on the same listing
  • Half sizes from 7 to 13.5, a finer ladder than most rings at this price
  • Free exchanges in the first 30 days with the seller paying to ship to you

Keep in mind

  • It sits one nickel under the ceiling, so there is no headroom for engraving or a second color
  • Black is a finish on tungsten, and Groove Life treats coating that wears down over time as wear and tear rather than a defect
  • GIA says tungsten rings cannot be resized, so a size change means a replacement ring

ThunderFit Thin Silicone Rings

by ThunderFit

Best for: The lowest price a wedding band can be bought for, and the ring to wear while you decide on the real one.

The listing publishes the three widths in millimeters, which is more than most silicone pages at this price do.

What we like

  • The cheapest band of any material we read on either of our budget pages
  • Three widths published in millimeters, so a narrow band can be chosen deliberately
  • Costs less than the shipping on a size exchange elsewhere

Keep in mind

  • Sizes come in paired steps rather than single sizes, so the fit is approximate
  • No warranty is stated on the product page
  • Sale items cannot be refunded, per the seller's own refund policy

Best for a hazardous job

SafeRingz Original Black Silicone Wedding Band

by SafeRingz

Best for: Anyone whose hands are near machinery, ladders or load, where a ring that gives way matters more than one that lasts.

The listing states the ring is designed to stretch and eventually break, which is the property a metal band at this price does not have.

What we like

  • The listing states plainly that the ring is designed to stretch and break, rather than leaving it implied
  • Twelve single sizes from 4 to 15, wider than most silicone ranges
  • A narrower Stackable version of the same material is listed at $19.99

Keep in mind

  • Returns are accepted only on an unworn ring shipped back within 30 days of purchase
  • No width is published, so the profile has to be judged from the photographs
  • The Stackable version stops at size 9

Best with a stone

Thorsten MOORE Tungsten Wedding Band with Blue Diamond

by Larson Jewelers

Best for: A set stone inside this budget, and a size range that reaches both ends of the ladder.

The listing states a single 0.05 carat blue diamond and does not say whether the color is natural or treated, which is the question to put in writing before ordering.

What we like

  • A set stone at under $70, where most rings at this price have none
  • Sizes 4 to 15, so one listing covers a couple
  • One of the five rings under $100 in Larson's affordable collection that is not marked while supplies last

Keep in mind

  • The listing does not say whether the blue diamond is natural or treated
  • Larson's refund policy states two different return windows on one page
  • Tungsten carbide cannot be resized on a bench, so the sizing cover is a replacement program

Best plain metal band

Titanium Style Flat Titanium Ring, Classic Pipe-Cut

by Titanium Style

Best for: A plain, light metal band with no coating to wear off, for someone who already knows their size.

The special price sat under $100 on the day we read it against a regular price of $114.99, so this ring is only a sub-$100 band while that promotion runs.

What we like

  • Quarter sizes, the finest size ladder of any pick on this page
  • The buyer chooses the titanium grade and the ring is hallmarked with it
  • Nothing plated or inlaid, so there is no finish to wear through

Keep in mind

  • Fourteen days from receipt is the shortest return window here, and you pay the return postage
  • Under $100 only at the special price; the regular price is over the ceiling
  • GIA limits titanium to half a size of resizing, so the order form is where the size is decided
Price range
$94.99 special price against a $114.99 regular price, read 20 September 2026
Material

How We Chose

What $100 Actually Buys, Counted

The clearest way to see this budget is to count one seller’s own shelf. Larson Jewelers ranks on the first page of Google for affordable wedding rings, and its Affordable Wedding Rings collection held 92 rings when we read it on 20 September 2026. Here is how those rings sat against the hundred-dollar line.

What we counted in the 92-ring collectionNumber
Rings whose lowest listed price is under $10025
Of those, rings whose listing says while supplies last20
Rings whose lowest listed price is from $100 to $20032
Of those, rings whose listing says while supplies last7
Rings in solid gold, platinum or silver, at any price0

Most of the Cheapest Shelf Is Being Run Out

Twenty of the twenty-five cheapest rings in that collection are stock being cleared. That is four out of five. One step up, from $100 to $200, the proportion falls to seven out of thirty-two. This is not a criticism of the seller and it is not a trick; it is what the bottom of a market looks like. It does have one practical consequence, and it is the reason our Larson pick is a ring under $70 rather than one under $50: if the size is wrong on a clearance ring, the replacement may not exist by the time you ask for it.

The Materials, and the One That Is Missing

Below the line that collection offered silicone from $29.99, ceramic and tungsten from $49.99, and cobalt chrome from $69.99, while its cheapest titanium started over $119. Other sellers place titanium under the line, as our pick under $95 shows, so the ordering is a seller’s stock decision rather than a property of the metal. What no seller we read placed under the line is any precious metal at all. For what each of these materials does besides cost little, see every band metal side by side.

Silicone: The Only Ring Here Designed to Break

Every other material on this page is trying to survive the day. Silicone is trying to fail before your finger does, and that is a measured property rather than a marketing line.

A hand resting on a wooden table wearing a plain green silicone wedding band

What the Study Found

In a 2021 cadaver study in the Journal of Hand Surgery, Jewett, Uppuganti and Desai found that silicone rings failed at an average of 53.0 N against 495.2 N for metal rings, with no degloving injuries in the silicone group, and recommended silicone in professions where ring avulsion injuries are more likely, such as heavy labor. That is a laboratory result about avulsion risk. It is not a durability claim, it is not a scratch-resistance claim, and it does not mean any ring prevents every injury.

What the Sellers Say About Their Own Rings

SafeRingz states on its product pages that the ring is designed to stretch and eventually break, and says the material is made in the United States. That is unusually direct for this price, because most listings at the bottom of the market describe comfort and color and leave the failure behaviour unmentioned. ThunderFit publishes its three widths in millimeters, at 4mm, 5mm and 6.3mm, which is also more than most. The full set of makers and what each publishes about how its rings break is in our silicone wedding bands comparison.

Where a Silicone Ring Is the Wrong Answer

It is the wrong answer if you want the ring to last decades, and it is the wrong answer if the ceremony matters more than the work. It is also, at these prices, the cheapest possible second ring, which is how a great many people at this budget actually use it: a metal band for the day and a silicone band for the week. Groove Life is the one seller here that sells that pairing as a single purchase.

Metal Under $100: Titanium, Tungsten and Ceramic

Under the hundred-dollar line the metal bands divide neatly by what they are made of, and the difference between them is not price.

Titanium Is the Lightest and the Most Restricted

Titanium Style’s flat pipe-cut band was under $95 on a special price against a regular price over $114 on the day we read it, and it offers quarter sizes up to 17, the finest size ladder of anything on this page. The catch is the return window: fourteen days from receipt, on an unworn ring, with the postage paid by you. GIA limits titanium to half a size of resizing, so getting the size right is not a preference here. The material in full is covered on our titanium wedding bands page.

Tungsten Buys the Most Ring for the Money

Tungsten is where this budget gets a set stone. Larson’s Thorsten MOORE band is tungsten carbide with a single 0.05 carat blue diamond under $70, in two men’s widths, sizes 4 to 15. The listing does not say whether the blue color is natural or treated, which is the question to put in writing before ordering rather than after. GIA says tungsten rings cannot be resized because of their brittleness, so a seller’s sizing warranty at this price means a replacement ring, not an adjustment. Our tungsten wedding bands page compares the makers in full.

Ceramic Is the Color Rather Than a Coating

On a ceramic ring the color runs through the material, so a black ceramic band has no plating on its surface to wear through. It is also the material most likely to chip rather than scratch. Ceramic starts under $50 in the collection we counted, though most of those listings are run-out stock, and our ceramic wedding bands page sets out which sellers state the trade-offs in their own words and which leave a warranty standing in for an answer.

Cobalt Chrome Is Here Too, Quietly

Cobalt chrome started under $70 in the same collection. It is naturally white, so it needs no rhodium plating to stay pale, which is the upkeep cost white gold carries. It is the least-discussed metal at this budget and the one fewest buyers consider.

Why Solid Gold Is Not a Wedding Band Under $100

There is no version of this budget that reaches solid gold, and it is worth being exact about the distance rather than vague.

The Numbers We Read

The cheapest solid gold band in our research was Blue Nile’s classic 14K white gold ring at its narrowest width, listed over $275 on 20 September 2026. That is nearly three times this page’s ceiling at list price. Larson’s entire 92-ring affordable collection contained no gold, platinum or silver ring at any price, which is the clearest evidence we found that a store’s idea of affordable is a choice of material rather than a discount.

What the Cheap Metals Cannot Do

GIA lists gold as resizable up to two sizes, against half a size for titanium and none at all for tungsten. That single property is most of what the extra money buys, and it is why the same ring can be worn through the years in which fingers change. Everything at this budget answers a size change with a new ring instead.

The Next Step Up Is Not Far

If gold is the requirement rather than the price, the line it crosses is close: a slim solid gold band came within reach of the next ceiling on a sale price on the day we checked, and our guide to wedding bands under $200 sets out exactly what the second hundred dollars adds. For listed gold prices across more sellers and metals, see how much a wedding band costs.

What You Give Up at This Price

Every ring on this page trades something away, and the trades are consistent enough to list.

What you give upWhat that means in practiceWhat to do instead
Bench resizingNo band here can be made larger or smaller by a jewelerMeasure first and buy from the seller with the longest free exchange
Restockable stockFour of five rings under $100 at the collection we counted are being run outChoose a ring whose listing does not say while supplies last
A long return windowFourteen days at one of our picks, thirty at mostOrder early enough to try the size at home inside the window
Precious metalNothing under $100 is gold, platinum or silverDecide whether the metal or the price matters more before shopping
Engraving without consequenceEngraving is what makes a cheap ring final sale at several sellersBuy plain, confirm the size, engrave afterwards

Measure Before You Order, Not After

On a ring nobody can resize, the size is the whole purchase. Each of these materials is good at one thing and bad at being adjusted, so the quality question at this budget is really a sizing question. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and measure more than once. Our printable ring sizer is free, and for a men’s band the men’s ring size chart converts the measurement. If the ring turns out slightly loose, ring sizing beads are an option on some materials and not on others.

The Exchange Window Is the Real Warranty

Groove Life gives free exchanges in the first thirty days and pays to ship to you. Northern Royal, whose cheapest tungsten band sits just over this page’s ceiling, refunds for ninety days. Titanium Style gives fourteen days on an unworn ring with the postage on you. Those three numbers are further apart than the prices are, and on an unresizable ring they matter more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are Some Good Women’s Rings Under $100?

Every pick on this page is sold in women’s sizes, and two are built for narrower hands. SafeRingz lists a Stackable silicone band under $20 in sizes 4 to 9, and ThunderFit’s narrow width measures four millimeters. Larson’s tungsten band with a set blue diamond starts at size 4.

How Much Is the Cheapest Wedding Ring?

The cheapest wedding ring we read on 20 September 2026 was ThunderFit’s thin silicone ring, under $10. The cheapest metal band was a tungsten ring under $50 in Larson’s affordable collection, though most of that collection’s cheapest stock is marked while supplies last, which is why it is not our pick.

Where Can I Buy Affordable Wedding Rings?

From makers that publish their own terms. The five sellers we priced here are ThunderFit, SafeRingz, Larson Jewelers, Titanium Style and Groove Life, and each states the material, the size range and the return window on the product page. Marketplace listings of the same rings often state none of those.

Where Can I Find the Cheapest Ring?

On clearance pages and marketplaces rather than at jewelers. When we recorded the top ten results for this search on 20 September 2026, they included an outlet clearance page, Etsy, Pinterest, Macy’s and a Facebook post. Clearance is also where a ring you cannot reorder in another size comes from.
