This With Clarity review answers the question behind most searches for the name: is With Clarity legit? On the evidence we could check, yes. With Clarity Inc is a New York jeweler, started in 2015, accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, with a showroom in SoHo, free insured returns within 30 days and prices published for every metal. Three terms deserve a careful read before you pay: its home preview charges 200 dollars per replica ring and refunds it as a gift card, a resize ends the right to return, and its lifetime warranty leaves out the center stone. Every policy, price and rating below was opened on 18 September 2026 and is quoted rather than paraphrased.

With Clarity

by With Clarity

Best for: A buyer who wants to see a replica of the design on the hand before paying for the real ring.

With Clarity Inc sells in its own name from New York, is BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and prices every engagement ring as a setting first, with the center stone added on top.

What we like

  • Free US returns within 30 days of receipt, with an insured prepaid label
  • A replica ring can be tried at home for 7 days before ordering the real one
  • Publishes its fees in advance: resizing after 30 days, re-engraving, certificate replacement

Keep in mind

  • The home preview charges 200 dollars per replica and refunds it as a gift card, not cash
  • A resized ring can no longer be returned, even inside the 30 days
  • The lifetime warranty excludes center stones, diamonds above 0.10 carat, loss and theft

Who With Clarity Is

With Clarity’s About page says it began in New York City with Anubh and Slisha Kankariya, a couple who found buying an engagement ring “overwhelming, confusing, and outdated”, and that it opened a flagship showroom in SoHo in 2024, at 118 Spring Street. The Better Business Bureau profile fills in what the About page leaves out: With Clarity Inc was incorporated in April 2015, started trading in May 2015, lists Marie Audier as CEO and Slisha Kankariya as marketing director, and gives a second address in Long Island City, Queens. The BBB describes it as “an online, direct to consumer home try-on engagement ring company”.

Most of what it sells is lab-grown: its menus lead with lab diamonds and colored lab diamonds, and it sells natural diamonds as well. Its return terms mention GIA and IGI certificates, and charge 300 dollars if a certificate is not sent back with a return.

The Home Preview: Replicas for a Deposit

The home preview is what makes With Clarity different, and its terms are more specific than its headline. The page’s title reads “Try On Engagement Rings At Home for Free”. The text underneath says that for a Home Preview order, With Clarity “will charge your card” 200 dollars per ring, an amount “fully redeemable” as a gift card of the same value “toward your purchase upon return”. If the replicas are not returned, the charge stays.

So the preview costs nothing only if you then buy from With Clarity. If you try two replicas and decide on a ring elsewhere, you hold 400 dollars in gift cards rather than a refund. The other terms are practical: up to two replicas per order, 7 days to try them, shipping free both ways, US addresses only, and replicas “made to order” that “can take up to 14 business days to craft”. The replicas are “3D-printed made of white metallic alloy and a diamond simulant” and are meant for looking, not wearing. Plan the timing, because two weeks of crafting plus a week of trying comes before the real ring is even ordered, and With Clarity quotes up to 12 business days to ship a finished ring.

Two Pages, Two Versions of the Repeat-Purchase Rule

With Clarity limits repeat returns, and its two policy pages describe the limit differently. Our Policies says a customer may return “up to two times within 30 days of receipt”, that the second is refunded only as store credit or with “a 20% restocking fee”, and that an account gets three returns, exchanges or cancellations in total. Its Refund Policy page says that after a return, a second purchase within six months “will not be eligible for return”. Both discourage buying several rings to compare and send back. If you might return a ring and buy another, ask which rule applies, in writing, before the second order.

Free Resizing That Ends the Free Return

The resize is free, but in the US it carries a 25-dollar shipping fee one way, and a resized ring can no longer be returned. Rare Carat and Brilliant Earth write the same rule, as our Rare Carat review shows. After 30 days, a resize under one finger size costs shipping plus 30 dollars in 14K gold, 40 in 18K or 50 in platinum, and a bigger change means recrafting the ring for a quoted price. Our guide to ring resizing cost puts those fees in context.

A Warranty for Small Stones, Not the Center Stone

The free lifetime warranty is narrower than its name suggests: it replaces accent stones under 0.10 carat and cleans the ring, and it excludes larger diamonds, the center stone, damage, loss and theft. With Clarity sells a paid “Clarity Commitment” protection plan, whose “Lifetime Plan is a period of 10 years from the date of purchase”. Work by any other jeweler voids the warranty. Loss and theft are a matter for engagement ring insurance.

Prices, by Metal

With Clarity prices engagement rings as a setting first; the center stone is chosen and priced separately. We read the Classic Four Prong Petite Comfort Fit Solitaire on 18 September 2026, from Portugal and again from a US server, and both showed the same US dollar prices.

Classic Four Prong Petite setting, read 18/09/2026Price shown
14K white, yellow or rose gold558 dollars, shown against 620
18K gold, any color828 dollars
Platinum963 dollars
What the price covers“(Setting Only)”

The site ran a “Fall Sale” of “Up to 25% Off” that day, marked on the products. The setting is only part of the bill, so compare the complete ring, stone included, with the same grades elsewhere. Our guide to diamond ring price by carat shows what a stone of each size usually adds.

What Customers Say, Counted

We read With Clarity’s Trustpilot profile and its BBB profile on 18 September 2026.

Source, read 18/09/2026With Clarity
Trustpilot score and reviews4.0 from 37 reviews
Trustpilot five stars / one star81% / 16%
Trustpilot labels“Unclaimed profile”; “No history of asking for reviews”
BBB rating and accreditationA+, accredited since 15 May 2018
BBB complaints8 in the last three years, 4 closed in the last 12 months
BBB customer reviewsAverage of 4.71 from 31 reviews

The Trustpilot sample is small but not invited, which makes it closer to what unprompted buyers write. The seven reviews at one or two stars, from October 2023 to April 2026, split into three groups by our reading: shipping dates that slipped or a customs delay (3), quality problems such as a necklace that broke on opening and a center stone that rattled (3), and one buyer who says an order was held until they sent a photo of their card and ID (1). The positive reviews mostly name a consultant.

The most recent complaint published on the BBB, from July 2026, says a center stone was found to be of a lower grade than ordered when the ring went back for resizing; With Clarity answered it, and the exchange is on the BBB page. One complaint does not make a pattern, but it is a reason to check the grading report and laser inscription against your order when the ring arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is With Clarity a Legitimate Company?

On the evidence we checked, yes. With Clarity Inc was incorporated in New York in 2015, has a SoHo showroom, and has been BBB accredited since 2018 with an A+ rating. Its policies are written and specific. Its Trustpilot profile is small, 37 reviews, so the BBB record says more.

Why Is With Clarity So Cheap?

We cannot confirm that it is. Its pages give no reason for their prices, and its menus lead with lab-grown diamonds, which usually cost less than mined stones of the same size. On 18 September 2026 its petite four-prong setting alone was 558 dollars in 14K gold, before any stone, during a sale.

Does With Clarity Sell Real Diamonds?

Yes. It sells lab-grown and natural diamonds, and its return terms refer to GIA and IGI certificates. GIA grades laboratory-grown diamonds as diamonds, and the FTC’s 2018 revision of its Jewelry Guides rewrote the definition of “diamond”. Its home preview replicas are not diamonds: they use a simulant.

Is a Lab Grown Diamond Worth Buying?

It depends on what you want from the stone. A lab-grown diamond costs less than a natural one of the same size and grades, and it is a real diamond, but GIA now grades lab stones on a separate scale. Our lab-grown vs natural diamond guide covers what that means.
