Men’s wedding bands with diamonds come in five builds, and the build matters more than the carat weight: stones burnished flush into the metal, a single stone in a bezel or flush setting, a row of pavé, or diamonds set into a curb-link chain. On 6 November 2026 the six bands below cost $1,620 to $2,920 in 14K gold, all from Rare Carat. Our overall pick is the Diamond Halfway Curb Link Band, which keeps its 40 small diamonds on the top half and leaves the back plain.

Key Takeaways
- GIA’s 2018 ring size guide says rings with pavé and channel settings cannot be resized easily, and that eternity rings, with diamonds around the entire band, can be very difficult to resize.
- The same GIA guide says rings with wide shanks usually need to be a bit larger, because they fit more snugly. Five of the six bands here are about five millimeters or wider.
- Blue Nile’s 2026 width guide calls anything above six millimeters a wide or statement band, and three of the six picks here are that wide.
- Three of the six bands list lab-grown diamonds; the other three do not state whether their stones are natural or lab-grown.
- In 14K gold the six bands cost $1,620 to $2,920 on 6 November 2026, and platinum ran from about 10% to about 80% more on the same band.

How We Chose
- Built for a man’s hand. Every band is listed in Rare Carat’s men’s section and is at least four millimeters wide, in sizes that reach at least 12.
- Different builds, not six rows of stones. The list covers flush, burnished, bezel, pavé and curb-link settings, because each one wears and resizes differently.
- Solid gold or platinum only. No plated or alternative metals, so every band can be repaired by a jeweler. For diamond bands in titanium or tungsten under a tighter budget, see our list of men’s wedding bands, which has a section on diamond bands under $500.
- Jewelers from our approved list. All six are from Rare Carat, which is also the jeweler that pays us. Other stores sell men’s diamond bands; they are not ranked lower, they are simply not on this page.
- Nothing bought or handled. Every detail comes from the product page as read on 6 November 2026 on Rare Carat’s U.S. site.
The Five Ways Diamonds Sit in a Men’s Band
How the stones are held decides how the band feels, how much it catches, and whether it can ever be resized.
Burnished and Flush
A burnished or flush setting drills a seat into the metal and sets the diamond level with the surface. Nothing sticks up, so there are no prongs to catch on a glove or a pocket. The Burnished Diamond Eternity hides eight stones in a narrow band that looks almost plain from a distance, and the Flush-Set Solitaire puts one half-carat round lab diamond at the center of a grooved band. For a man who works with his hands, this is the safest way to wear a diamond.
Bezel
A bezel wraps a thin rim of metal around the stone’s edge. GIA’s 2026 settings guide describes it as surrounding the stone with metal, and it is the setting that best protects corners. That is why the Grooved Princess-Cut band uses one: a princess cut has pointed corners, and a bezel guards them. It is also the only band here with a full carat in one stone, and the listing names an IGI report.
Pavé
Pavé sets small stones close together with tiny beads or prongs of metal. GIA says pavé may need occasional maintenance to keep the stones secure, and the 2018 ring size guide says pavé and channel-set rings cannot be resized easily. The Angled Pavé band runs 17 lab diamonds in a line across the top and tapers from 7.5mm to 4mm, so the palm side carries less metal and no stones.
Curb Link
The two curb-link bands set diamonds into an open chain-link pattern. The wider version sets 24 stones across the links, and the 5mm Halfway version puts 40 smaller stones in alternating links on the top half only. Open links have more edges to clean than a solid band, but they keep the band lighter than its width suggests.
Full Eternity
An eternity band has stones all the way around. GIA’s ring size guide warns that eternity rings can be very difficult to resize. The Burnished band is the only full eternity on this page, and its burnished setting means the stones on the palm side sit flush rather than rubbing the next finger.
Width and Fit on a Diamond Band
Men’s diamond bands run wider than most men’s plain bands, and width changes the size you need.
What Counts as Standard
Blue Nile’s 2026 width guide calls four to six millimeters the standard range for men’s rings and anything above six millimeters wide or statement. On this page, the Burnished band, the Halfway Curb and the Flush-Set Solitaire sit inside the standard range, while the wide Curb Link, the Angled Pavé and the Grooved Princess band are statement widths. Our guide to men’s wedding band width explains how to choose.
Wide Bands Fit Tighter
GIA’s 2018 ring size guide says rings with wide shanks usually need to be a bit larger because they fit more snugly. A man who wears a size 10 in a narrow band may need a quarter or half size more in a 7mm band. Because most of these bands are hard to resize, measure with a band of similar width, or use our ring sizer and then confirm with the jeweler.
Size Ranges Vary More Than Widths
The size ranges on these listings vary a lot. The Burnished band runs from 3 to 14, the Angled Pavé from 7 to 15, while the Grooved Princess stops at 12 and the Flush-Set Solitaire at 13. Check the range before you fall for a design. For typical sizes, see our average ring size for men.
Natural or Lab-Grown Diamonds
Three of the six bands, the Grooved Princess, the Angled Pavé and the Flush-Set Solitaire, list lab-grown diamonds. The other three give color and clarity grades but do not say whether the stones are natural or lab-grown.
What the FTC Requires
The FTC’s Jewelry Guides say a laboratory-created diamond with the same optical, physical and chemical properties as a mined one may be called “cultured” only if the term is paired with a clear and conspicuous disclosure such as “laboratory-grown” (16 CFR 23.12). In practice, a listing that does not use one of those words is not telling you the stone is lab-grown. Ask Rare Carat to confirm the diamond type in writing before you order any of the three bands that do not state it.
Where Lab-Grown Makes Sense on a Band
On a band with many small stones, the price difference between natural and lab-grown is spread across tiny diamonds, so the type matters less to the total than it does on a single large stone. On a single carat, like the Grooved Princess, lab-grown is what keeps the band under $2,000 in 14K gold. For the wider comparison, read our guide to lab-grown vs natural diamonds.
Metal and Price
Rare Carat offers every band here in 14K and 18K gold and most in platinum. The table shows the price in 14K yellow gold and in platinum on 6 November 2026.
| Band | 14K yellow gold | Platinum | Platinum vs 14K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diamond Halfway Curb Link, 5mm | 1,620 dollars | 1,805 dollars | 185 dollars more |
| Burnished Diamond Eternity, 4mm | 1,670 dollars | Not listed | Not listed |
| Grooved Princess-Cut Lab Diamond, 1 ct | 1,845 dollars | 2,110 dollars | 265 dollars more |
| Diamond Curb Link, 7mm | 1,945 dollars | 2,180 dollars | 235 dollars more |
| Angled Pavé Lab Diamond, 7.5mm | 2,505 dollars | 3,635 dollars | 1,130 dollars more |
| Flush-Set Solitaire Lab Diamond, 5mm | 2,920 dollars | 5,275 dollars | 2,355 dollars more |
The premium is not steady. On the two curb bands and the Grooved Princess, platinum was cheaper than 18K gold. On the Angled Pavé and the Flush-Set Solitaire, platinum cost more than 18K gold and close to double on the Flush-Set. If you want a white band and platinum is out of budget, 14K white gold is within twenty dollars of yellow on every band. For the difference in wear, see platinum vs white gold.
Which Men’s Diamond Band Fits You?
| If you want | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Diamonds that do not take over the band | Diamond Halfway Curb Link, 5mm | Stones on the top half only, plain back |
| A big band for a big hand | Diamond Curb Link, 7mm | 7mm wide, curb-link design |
| Nothing that can snag | Burnished Diamond Eternity, 4mm | Eight stones set flush, sizes 3 to 14 |
| One real stone with a report | Grooved Princess-Cut Lab Diamond | A 1 ct princess in a bezel, IGI report named |
| The most sparkle | Angled Pavé Lab Diamond, 7.5mm | 17 lab diamonds across the top |
| One round diamond set into the metal | Flush-Set Solitaire Lab Diamond | A 0.5 ct round set flush in a 5mm band |
If you want a diamond band to match a partner’s, our diamond wedding bands page covers bands for both and explains how fractional carat weights are disclosed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Men’s Wedding Bands With Diamonds Under $500 Possible?
Yes, but not in solid gold with natural stones. The diamond bands we have found at that price set small diamonds into titanium, tungsten or another alternative metal. The bands on this page are all solid gold or platinum, which is why they start above $1,500. Our men’s wedding bands page lists diamond bands under $500.
Are White Gold Men’s Wedding Bands With Diamonds Different From Yellow?
Only in color and upkeep. On every band here, 14K white gold costs within twenty dollars of 14K yellow. White gold is usually rhodium plated, according to GIA, so it may need re-plating every few years to stay bright white. Yellow gold needs no plating.
Can a Men’s Diamond Wedding Band Be Resized?
It depends on where the stones are. GIA says pavé and channel-set rings cannot be resized easily and eternity rings can be very difficult to resize. A band with stones only on the top, like the Halfway Curb Link, leaves plain metal to work on. Rare Carat includes one free resize in the first year on most of these bands.
Should a Man’s Wedding Band Have Diamonds?
There is no rule either way. Diamonds add sparkle and a sense of occasion; a plain band is simpler to care for and easier to resize. For a man who works with his hands, a flush or burnished setting is the practical way to have both, because nothing sits above the metal to catch or loosen.
Are Tungsten Men’s Wedding Bands With Diamonds a Good Idea?
They cost far less, but GIA’s 2025 metals guide lists tungsten as not resizable, so the size you order is the size you keep. A diamond set into tungsten is usually small. If you like the idea, our men’s wedding bands page compares tungsten and titanium bands with diamonds at lower prices.
